Who should attend the Strategic Space Symposium?

Anyone who is interested in learning about and participating in developing the space strategies that support on-the-ground combat operations should attend. Anyone interested in discussing strategy with and making recommendations to senior USSTRATCOM leaders should attend. This includes representatives from the Pentagon, combatant commands, joint functional and service components, government groups, industry, and the international space community, including many leaders and high-level decision-makers.

How is the meeting structured?

The Strategic Space Symposium includes highly informative and engaging presentations by military, government, and industry experts who will provide new information and new perspectives on the state of military space operations plus roll-up-your-sleeves breakout sessions will provide an unprecedented opportunity to discuss, debate and make recommendations on the strategic direction the military will be taking with the vital space programs that support on-the-ground operations.

What exactly happens during the track and breakout sessions?

These small group meetings are designed to give attendees access to the military and industry leaders who are facilitating the sessions and to facilitate dialog, interaction, and collaboration among the participants. One of the goals of these sessions is to educate the attendees; the other goal is to gather input from a diverse body of interested individuals that will then be used to facilitate USSTRATCOM planning and problem-solving.
