Mr. Richard McCormick, SES
Special Assistant for International and Space Activities, Director's Office, Defense Advanced Research Projects
Mr. McCormick is the special assistant to the Director, DARPA. In addition, he serves as the DARPA director of international support activities. After serving in the Air Force, McCormick was appointed the deputy assistant secretary of the Air Force for space plans and policy, after serving as the special assistant to the Secretary of the Air Force for space, and as the program manager, ESL, subsidiary of TRW. He has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Virginia Military Institute and a Master's Degree in engineering administration from George Washington University.
