Col. John "J.R." Riordan, USAF

Colonel Riordan is the director for Space Operations, deputy chief of staff for Operations, Plans and Requirements, Headquarters United States Air Force, Washington, D.C. Previously, he served as joint director of Space Forces, Combined Air Operations Center, United States Central Command Air Forces, Southwest Asia, and commander, 595th Space Group, Space Innovation and Development Center, Schriever Air Force Base. Riordan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Montclair State University, Upper Montclair, N.J.; a master's degree with Honors in business administration from Regis University, Denver; and a master’s degree in national security studies from the National War College, Fort McNair, Washington, D.C.
