Strategic Space Symposium Kicks Off Next Week in Omaha

OMAHA, Neb./COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Oct. 27, 2009) - There is still time to register for the Strategic Space Symposium, which starts next Monday evening, Nov. 2, and runs through Nov. 4 at the Qwest Center Omaha in Omaha, Neb. 

Presented through a Space Foundation/United States Strategic Command partnership, the Strategic Space Symposium is exceptionally affordable: the military/government rate is only $395 and the industry rate is only $595. Registration includes all sessions, breakfasts, luncheons, presentations, and access to the AMERICOM Government Services Exhibit Center. Through presentations, panel discussions, and highly interactive track and breakout sessions, the Strategic Space Symposium will encourage collaboration, conversation, and creative interchange between the private sector and the government on challenging space operations and warfighter issues.

The speakers include high-level U.S. government and military leaders from the U.S. Strategic Command, the National Reconnaissance Office, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, the Department of Defense, the U.S. Air Force, DARPA, Joint Functional Component Commands, and the European, Northern, Southern and Special Operations Commands.

The Symposium also features international military leaders from Australia, Canada, France, Israel, Japan, the United Kingdom, and NATO, and industry leaders from The Aerospace Corporation, AMERICOM Government Services, GeoEye, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Orbital Sciences, and Raytheon.
